Former Wis. Gov. Tommy Thompson praised his younger brother, Ed, prior to a fundraiser for Ed Friday, March 19, 2010 at the Ramada Inn Convention Center in Eau Claire. Ed Thompson is a Republican candidate for the 31st State Senate seat held by Kathleen Vinehout. Tommy Thompson, also a former U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, is considering a run for U.S. senator.
