  Eau Claire County Fair

  Ed Thompson found the many exhibits and activities to be true to the fair theme, “Celebrating Families & Youth”.

  Monroe County Fair Business After 5

  Ed Thompson was on hand at the beginning of the Tomah-Sparta Chamber of Commerce “Business After 5″ July 28. He opened the Monroe County Fair in Tomah before heading to another campaign event in Sparta.

  Trempealeau and Pepin County Fairs

  Ed Thompson visited the first fairs of the season. On Friday and Saturday, July 23 & 24, Ed spent time meeting folks in Galesville at the Trempealeau County Fair and on Saturday he spent some time visiting with folks at the Pepin County 4-H Fair in Arkansaw.

  Black River Falls Beef Cookout & Butterfly Parade

  Black River Falls seems almost like Ed Thompson’s home away from home. On July 10 Ed joined folks at the fairgrounds for the Jackson County Beef Cookout.

  Ed Thompson Speaks with Restaurant Owners

  On Monday, July 19, brother Tommy Thompson and restaurateur John Kavanagh joined Ed Thompson and many other folks to talk about improving the climate for private employers to help put more Wisconsin folks back to work and make a brighter future for our children and grandchildren.

  Dugan Valley Dairy in Mondovi

  On July 16th, Ed Thompson visited the Dugan Valley Dairy in Mondovi and learned about major advances in dairy farming technology. Ed wants to work for all of the farmers in the vast 31st District, small and large.

  Ed Thompson Visits Osseo

  As Ed Thompson continues to visit people from around the big district, he made a stop in Osseo on June 30. Here Ed is touring the Titan Air Factory.

  Alma Center Strawberry Festival

  Sponsored by the Lion’s Club, the 66th Annual Strawberry Festival Parade gave Ed Thompson a chance to greet hundreds of people in Alma Center on Sunday, June 27.

  Ellsworth Cheese Curd Festival

  A warm, sunny Saturday was the setting for Ellsworth’s 9th Annual Cheese Curd Festival.  Ed Thompson strolled the Pierce County Fairgrounds viewing the vendor displays of wares from gourmet coffee to chainsaw art.  A Beach/Sand Wrestling Tournament, the Heritage Tractorcade, and sampling goods from the Cooperative Creamery added to the enjoyment of the day.
